Ingredients
  1. Dates 100 gm
    Warm water 100 ml
    Brown sugar 50 gm
    Flour 125 gm
    Baking powder 1 tsp
    Butter 50 gm
    Egg 1
    Ingredients for Sauce
    Brown sugar 50 gm
    Fresh cream 100 ml
    Butter 25 gm
Method
  • Blend together 100 gm dates and 100 ml warm water. Mix well.
    Add 1 tsp baking powder, 50 gm butter, 50 gm brown sugar, 1 egg and 125 gm flour. Mix very well.
    Now pour mixture in a greased lined cake mold and bake on 180 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
    In a separate pan put together 100 ml fresh cream, 50 gm brown sugar and 25 gm butter. Cook for 4 – 5 minutes. Remove from fire and keep aside.
    Spread this sauce on top of baked pudding and serve.
