Ingredients
  1. 1 Cup Self Rising flour
    1/3 Cup Rice flour
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1 Cup Cold Water
    1 lemon Zest
    6 Bananas
    For deep frying Oil
    3 tbsp Caster sugar
Method
  • Sift flour, rice flour and salt together in a bowl. Add
    water enough to make a coating batter. Mix well and stir in the lemon zest.
    Heat oil until hot.
    Peel the bananas slice in half and dip in batter and coat 3 or 4 times. Deep
    fry in hot oil until golden and crisp. Drain excess oil and dust generously
    with caster sugar and serve with lemon wedges.
