1. Heat butter and fry onions till dark brown.
2. Add in flour and sugar till it forms a caramel mixture.
3. Add in chicken stock and seasoning, stir till the mixture thickens.
4. Cut the bread slices with a round cutter and apply grated cheese lavishly on it.
5. Pour soup in an ovenproof bowl.
6. Place the bread slices covered with cheese separately on a dish and grill for 5 min.
7. Sprinkle chopped parsley before serving.
