Ingredients
  1. Khoya ½ kg
    Egg 1
    Silver waraq 2
    Chopped almonds 50 grams
    Baking powder ½ tsp
    Cardamom powder ¼ tsp
    Flour 2 tbsp
    Oil 2 tbsp
    Oil for frying as required
    Syrup ingredients:
    Cardamom 2
    Sugar 2 cups
    Water 2 cups
Method
  • In a pan take ½ kg khoya, 2 tbsp flour, 2 tbsp oil, ½ tsp baking powder and ¼ tsp cardamom powder and mix well with the help of your hands.
    Make small balls of the mixture. Fry them in the required oil.
    Take 2 cups water, 2 cups sugar and 2 cardamoms and cook.
    When the sugar dissolves and the syrup thickens turn off the stove.
    Pour the syrup in a dish and add the fried gulab jamun balls in it.
    Sprinkle with 50 grams finely chopped almonds and decorate with 2 silver waraq
