Gur Papdi recipe by Shireen Anwar. This delightful Desserts recipe of Gur Papdi can be ready in approximately 20 Minutes and good to serve around 2-3 People. Follow all the steps recommended by Chef to get a perfect dish.
Wheat flour 200 gm
Edible gum 75 gm
Almonds pistachio sliced 1/2 cup each
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
Ghee 200 gm
Jiggery 250 gm (glass jiggery)
Poppy seeds 4 tbsp
Grated coconut 3 tbsp
Heat 100 gm ghee and fry edible gum when it swells remove from fire. Allow it to cool and crush
In the same pan add remaining 100 gm ghee fry wheat flour for 10 minutes till it becomes fragrant.
Add poppy seeds, ground green cardamom and nuts.
Remove from the stove, add crushed gum, jiggery, mix well and cook again for 2 minutes, stirring continuously, spread evenly in a greased thali and cut into pieces.
