Lebanese Makloubi With Meat recipe by Tahir Chaudhary. This delightful Main Course recipe of Lebanese Makloubi With Meat can be ready in approximately 30 Minutes and good to serve around 2-4 People. Follow all the steps recommended by Chef to get a perfect dish. Hide

INGREDIENTS

Beef or mutton 1kg
Oil4 tbsp
Large sized onion1
Cinnamon powder½ tsp
Cinnamon2 pieces
Nutmeg½ tsp
Black pepper powder1 tsp
Red chili powder1 tsp
 Bay leaf2
Water4-6 cups
Assembling ingredients
Tomatoes2
Small sized egg plant2
Cauliflower½ kg
Rice2 cups
Salt2 tsp
Ghee4 tbsp
Almonds2-3 tbsp
Pine nuts2 tbsp

METHOD

Heat 4 tbsp of oil in a pan and add 1 onion,1/2 tsp cinnamon powder,2 pieces of cinnamon,1/2 tsp  nutmeg powder,1 tsp black pepper powder,1 tsp red chili powder,2 bay leaf and 4-6 cups of water .
Now add 1 kg beef or mutton in prepared mixture and allow cooking.
When meat tenders then shredded the meat and separate the stock.
Boil water in other pan, half cook the rice and strain.
Place the layer of 2 eggplants, then the layer of 2 tomatoes and then ½ kg of cauliflower in a wok.
Now pour the stock of meat with pinch of salt.
Then place layer of boiled rice and meat.
In last add 4 tbsp of ghee, 2 tbsp of almonds and 2 tbsp of pine nuts.
Simmer it for 10-12 min and dish out.
