Ingredients
  1. 500 gm Okra
  2. 1/4 cup Oil
  3. 4 Tomatoes chopped
  4. 4 Green chilies
  5. 1 tsp Salt
  6. 2 tsp Ginger paste
  7. 1 tsp Red chili powder
  8. 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  9. 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  10. 1 tsp Hot spices powder
  11. 1 tsp Dried mango powder
Method
  • Heat oil in a wok and stir fry the onions till they become translucent. Add the chopped tomatoes and fry over a medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture thickens. Add the okra and stir fry for 3-4 minutes. Ensure that the okra is evenly coated with the sauce.
  • Now add the red chili powder, turmeric, cumin seeds, hot spices powder, dried mango powder and ginger paste. Cover and steam for 8 minutes over medium heat until tender.
  • Sprinkle some hot spices powder on top and garnish with green chilies.
