Ingredients
  1. Semolina200 gm
    Egg3
    Baking powder1 tbsp
    Sugar200 gm
    Lemon skin1 tsp
    Almond100 gm
    Milk125 ml
    Butter150 gm
    Lemon juice¼ cup
    Sugar½ cup
    Vanilla essencefew drops
    Cooking chocolate200 gm
Method
  • Grind 100 gm almonds and keep aside.
    In a bowl mix together ground almond, 200 gm semolina, 1 tsp lemon skin and 1 tbsp baking powder. Mix well.
    In another bowl beat together 200 gm sugar and 150 gm butter. Add in 3 eggs one by one altering with semolina-flour mixture. Continue to beat till smooth mixture is formed.
    Pour batter in a cake mold, bake in a preheated oven on 180 degrees for 40 – 45 minutes.
    In a pan put together sugar, lemon juice, 200 gm cooking chocolate and few drops of vanilla essence. Cook till sugar is dissolved.
    Spread chocolate syrup on top of cake and serve.
