Peshawar, January 13, 2016. Governor Kpk urged the federal
and provincial government of kpk to solve the issue of C-Pak through negotiation
and don’t politicize the issue, he was talking with journalists at university of
agriculture Peshawar. Governor KP who is the chancellor of the universities
attended the 10th convocation of the university.
The convocation held in university premises, Minister Agriculture Ikram Ullah
Khan Grandeur, also attended the program, facility of the university were also
present at the event. Governor KP distributed Degrees among Bachelors, Masters
and PHD scholars, more than 340 students got graduation from the university.
Governor Kpk Sardar Mehtab Abbasi also awarded 68 gold medals, 24 PHD and 4
presidential awards to the students.
The event start half & hour late on the schedule, which was also issued by
university management, security was strict for the students, relative and
families of the students. Security official didn’t allowed the journalists to
bring the mobile phone in university campus, later the journalists boycott from
the event but management ensure that they will take the action against the
officer who is involved in misbehave with journalists.
During the convocation one student of the IBMS , which is also the part of
University of Agriculture Peshawar protested , she said that Management take
more fees compare to the Agriculture students , but their name are not included
in Booklet which is publish for the conviction , she also talk with Governor kpk
while getting her Gold Medal . The Governor Kpk ensured that they will take
action against the management.
Vice Chancellor of the university Dr Zahoor A Swati addresses the convocation
and said that more than 300 foreign students are studying in university. He also
said that most of the university faculty is PHD scholar that our graduate passed
out of the university are working in different fields and also involved in
research field.
In his speech the Governor Kpk said that its very pleasant movement for him in
front of university graduate, who are the future of this nation, he urged the
faculty to facilitate the students and prepare the students for future
challenges.
Later the Governor Kpk Sardar Mehtab Khan Abbasi also talk with the media and
said that Kpk import the crops from different provinces, which is big challenge
and also a failure, we have talented agriculture expatriate so it’s the duty of
the Agriculture university to carry research and work to double the corps, so
that we become able to export to other countries.
Governor Kpk said that C- PACK is big project of Pakistan china and it’s
necessary that we don’t politicize the issue and federal government and province
sit again and again for talk on this issue, but not only the political person
but also expert of the economic issue should b made part of it.
