Later, Rahim elaborated on the incident in a follow-up post, explaining that he was assaulted by a group of drunk individuals. “I was attacked by some drunk goons and thankfully, I was not seriously hurt,” he wrote. He assured his followers that the culprits would be apprehended soon and vowed to handle the situation professionally.

He expressed gratitude to his fans for their support and prayers, saying, "Thank you for your support and remember me in your prayers." This incident has led to an outpouring of sympathy from social media users, who have been expressing their concern and well-wishes for the comedian.
