Bajwa’s Magic Hug

It all started with a hug. General Bajwa giving hug to Navjot Sidhu on oath taking ceremony of PM Pakistan

On August 18, 2018 at the oath taking ceremony of 22nd prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, Chief of Army Staff general Qamar Javed Bajwa hugged one of the dearest guest of the event, a former cricketer, current Indian parliamentarian and a close friend from the cricketing days of newly sworn PM Imran Khan, Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu and whispered ‘’We are thinking to open the Kartarpur boarder to ease and appease the Sikh community to fulfill their religious purposes’’. Latter sentence by the COAS initiated an emphatic foreign policy of Pakistan towards India in response to their continuous proxy wars and violations at LOC. The dynamic Indian parliamentarian himself represents the Sikh sentiments therefore it was easy for him to immediately asses this glittering offer, not only in the context of peace & stability prospect in sub-continent but also as an important weapon to topple Modi’s fascist government in upcoming elections in India. Bhartiya Janta Party won its last general elections with a vociferous anti Pakistan campaign and promoted hate speech, racism and religious atrocities.

On the contrary, Congress party has chosen to adapt a more people friendly and developmental policy to grab the gaze of the nation in elections ahead. Congress party and its members were blasted by the BJP representatives and several government officials in different TV talk shows on Mr. Sidhu’s arrival from Pakistan; moreover they declared him a state perfidious. However the peace stance kept the same volume from Pakistan’s side not only in their own territory but also in the United Nations general assembly session where Mr. Shah Mehmood Qureshi not only offered table talks to India but also erased curtains from India’s brutality towards Kashimiris in Jammu Kashmir in order to cause consistent embarrassments and mounting pressure world widely on BJP government.

Pakistan’s pro Indo-Pak relationship slogan merged with India’s opposition party’s desire and Modi’s fear to loose great majority of Sikhs in Punjab finally led demented BJP’s government to agree upon the opening of Kartarpur boarder. In the meantime serious intimidations from Indian COAS are still floating on social & broadcast media.

Closing ties between Pakistan, China, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Malaysia with agenda to abolish corruption, terrorism and boost economy have raised solemn concerns among the highest ranks of Indian galleries. Recently, United States and Indians had already opposed China Pakistan Corridor concept to further weaken Pakistan.

To malign the inception of diplomatic relations on November 23 2018 attacks on Chinese consulate were made however resulted in failure by the help security agencies. In the cross firing incident Sindh police lost two of its brave officers and two civilians with a total of four casualties. No harm could occur to Chinese staff at all. This operation successfully carried out under the supervision Superintendent Police Suhai Aziz in which all three terrorists were killed. Later in investigation the security agencies found close ties among the master mind of this attack and RAW. Another proxy war attack resulted in failure to sabotage the peace process. Clearly it was a worthless try by Indian security agencies to create a narrative that Pakistan is a terrorist state and we can’t negotiate with terrorists.

Yesterday foreign minister Pakistan Mr. Qureshi sent invitations to minister of external affairs Ms. Sushma Swaraj, Chief Minister Punjab Mr. Amarinder Singh and Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu, respectively. Indeed a subtle move by Pakistan to cover all the aspects to not to let BJP make any excuses. Prime Minister Imran Khan will be inaugurating the Kartapur boarder opening on 28th of November 2018. So far Pakistan has check mate the BJP, speaking diplomatically but we should remember quite clearly that whenever Indo-Pak relations are gossiped only one moral occurs in mind
‘’All that glitter is not gold’’
