Barack Obama after having
achieved success in elections is fully positioned to get hold of the office of
the US president. Obviously he has to wait for the moment when Mr Bush leaves
the office which he used to show his muscles to the under developed nations
specially the Muslims. Bush senior and junior both initiated the series of wars
which he called “Crusades” against Iraq and afterwards Afghanistan and that too
in the vague of searching Osama Bin Laden which they insist is hiding in this
region. It is just a coincidence that these areas are also heavily rich with
natural resources like , natural gas, petroleum, coal, copper, chromite, talc,
barites, sulfur, lead, zinc, iron ore, salt, precious and semiprecious stones
whereas Iraq is rich with resources includes petroleum, natural gas, phosphates
and sulfur. Another benefit which USA enjoys is to keep close eye on Pakistan,
Iran, China and Russia as well.
Unfortunately within the few previous decades it has been proved that if America
is friend of any country they don’t need to search for their enemy. In other
words it is “Two in One” friend. Unluckily Bush has rammed the world into the
fire causing serious dangers for not only to the humanity but for America as
well. Ironically, American citizen, who even weep for their pets are supporting
Bush’s brutal and inhuman policies i.e. genocide of innocent people all over the
world.
America is directly handling operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and day to day
attacks in Pakistani tribal areas where as Israel is enjoying full support in
massacring Palestinians. US former Presidents like Ronald Reagan and Bill
Clinton attained respect and honor for America because of their international
and human friendly policies. Whereas, Bush has regrettably failed to maintain
the level of respect his predecessors set for him. Newly elected president Mr
Obama is lucky in this regard that Bush administration has not set any standard
for him to achieve .He himself has to reinstate America to the level of respect
where it was during previous eras.
Obama is different from many aspects. His success has eliminated the ethnic
feeling which had been prevailing in the past that Blacks are not from any
aspect equal to the Whites. Hence Obama will be the first black American head of
the state entering into White house. He has to be careful as he may have to
tackle certain black sheeps hiding in establishment and those may not
necessarily be from the blacks abut they could be from whites as well. It is
obvious that Obama has to face severe hurdles by its white establishment in
order to run government affairs. But Obama is sensible enough to appoint a Jew
and former advisor of Clinton, Mr Rahm Emanuel as his White House chief of
staff. It reflects Israeli and Zionist hold on heart and mind of Obama. He is
really impressed by his chief of staff as in his statement Obama said “No one I
know is better at getting things done,"
Although Obama during his election campaign reiterated to continue Bush’s
certain policies like war on terror but still he should think for a while before
blindly acting upon the same old strategy. On the other hand Bush’s failed
policies have visibly effect on US economy and now they are busy in bailout plan
to heal up the crisis.
People from world over have many hopes from Obama in order to create peace and
harmony at international front yet it seems being representing Blacks it would
not be easy for Obama to do things according to his own will. He will have to
absorb a lot of pressure from different fronts to maintain democratic and
secular posture of USA. In other words Obama would be a “Manmohan Sing” of
America. Example of so called “secular state” India is there as their Prime
Minister and Army Chief are both Sikhs still Sikh community is depressed one.
Manmohan Sing is scapegoat in the hands of Congress and Sonia Gandhi. Indian
former president Mr Abdul Kalam, was a Muslim and a known scientist but even
during his tenure Indian Muslims had to face hatred and dreadful operations from
fundamental Hindus specially the Shiv Sena etc. So Obama being the Black will go
all out to please white majority of USA. There is still an American generation
who don’t eagerly accept blacks as their rulers, who had been their slaves for
pretty long time.
American history is based on ethnocentrism. America is the main supporter of
women rights but for other countries. Since its emergence America had never
elected any woman as its head of the state. Helry Clinton was not even given
ticket to contest the presidential election. What so ever may be the
consequences US blacks have a chance to prove their abilities. Blacks have
already been active in US politics as Condoleezza Rice played vital role in Bush
government. She also wrote book in which she discussed about her beauty as
Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, according to her, tried to
impress her by moving his fingers in his own head. May be he was trying to make
his spikes. American women have always proved to be “Gorgeous” for Pakistani
head of the states. In his first visit to America as president Mr Zardari also
appreciated “gorgeousness” of Sara Paulin. How ever standard of gorgeousness for
US public is different as Sara’s prettiness couldn’t save her party from lucid
defeat.
Obama is not stranger to Pakistanis as his mother Ann had been serving in this
country for almost five years. But before coming to Pakistan she had already
divorced Obama’s father. During that tenure she was wife of an Indonesian that’s
why her full name was, Ann Dunham Sudoro. She was part of ADB project being run
in Gujran Wala (Punjab, Pakistan) a city famous for wrestlers. She stayed in
Lahore and used to go to Gujran Wala on daily basis. According to news reports
Mr. Obama had also visited Pakistan. He stayed for three days in Jacob Abad one
of the hotest cities of Pakistan . May be this is the reason that he always
raises his tempertaure before giving any statement regarding Pakistan. It seems
he doesn’t like to understand pakistan side stance. May be it is because of
language problem. However his late mother had a working knowledge of Urdu-the
national language of Pakistan as well as many Muslims in the Subcontinent. So it
is hoped, just to pay tribute to his mother , he may sometimes arrange
International Urdu Mushaira ( a literary function where poets recite their
poetry) in white house. May be he takes an in house briefing before proceeding
in this contest. Zoinist loby will obviously advise him to hold this literary
function in guantanamo bay once for all.
Keeping literature aside , there are mix feelings on Obama’s success. He
inherits a pack of major problems and it would not be that easy for him to
tackle the same. But still nations who are facing injust aggression by USA have
a ray of hope from Obama in order to make this world peacefull.
