PRESIDENT. “ REHNUMA-E-PAKISTAN FORUM ”
The recent election of the Prime Minister of Pakistan by the elected
representative sitting in the National Assembly, who was alleged to be involved
in scandals as reported in the media speaks low morality & poor moral standards
of those who voted him in power. It was alleged that he was responsible for the
Power shortage in the country. And said to be harping during his previous tenure
as Minister of Water & Power to eliminate the menace of Power shortage & thus
bring an end to load shedding once & for all in the month of December every year
which finally never materialized however, it is alleged that he failed to honour
the commitment but rather had been instrumental in increasing the load shedding
because of poor, inefficient & corruption infested policies enforced at that
time. Though it is too late, however, how good it would have been if the
selected candidate would have been of impeccable character with no blot on the
person.
The power shortage in its wake brought in closure of various industrial units
thus effecting export, low production, retrenchment of manpower, causing massive
unemployment, which created riot like situation, thus resulting in
precarious law & order situation being presently faced by the country. The
majority of the citizens of Pakistan, due to prevailing situation, are following
below the poverty line, are passing through agonizing situation.
It is evident that security environment, spiral rise of cost of living, poor law
& order situation, dwindling purchasing power, oppressive & corruption infested
administrative machinery, allegations of serious monetary corruption charges on
the high-ups & their kith & kin are responsible to low morale & depression like
state in the rank & file of the people of Pakistan. It is said that there has
been conspiracy to malign Honorable members of the apex court in order to divert
the attention of the massive from the grave law and order` worst economic
situation to divert the public.
Time has come, before it gets too late, to wake up & recall & recollect that
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (R.A) along with his team of stalwarts
sacrificed everything for the creation of Pakistan. The purpose was to get a
separate homeland for the Muslims of the sub-continent, where they could lead
their lives according to their faith & practice their rituals without any fear
of favour. It is that previous set-up’s was involved in all sorts of
malpractices to enrich themselves.
The people of Pakistan rightly feel that they have being ruled by vested
interests who have no consideration nor patriotism for moral ethics & principles
of Islam but are interested only in grabbing power by hook or crook at all cost
for ruling the country. The present scenario is depicting gloomy state of
affairs & creating an impression that the country is heading, God forbid, to a
situation of no return. Arrival of Massiah is awaited to provide them relief and
honour.
However, we think there is still time for the reigning leaders to correct
themselves and by collective counseling they could be brought to the right path.
Let bygone be bygone and they can still do undo mistakes. We must ensure that
democracy prevails and continue in the right path.
People of Pakistan are brave, and patriots and well aware that their homeland
was created after passing through a blood path. They may not be treated as flock
of sheep and made scapegoat for all the ills now prevalent in the country. Time
has come that rule of law should be made Supreme. Lest people start await the
sound of Boots start knocking at the door which would be only alternative to
save Pakistan.
In the end Rehnuma-e-Pakistan Forum sincerely believes that the newly inducted
Prime Minister, Raja Pervaze Ashraf, has the opportunity to erase the previous
stigma and put the country on the road to progress and prosperity and thus carve
out a name for himself and the party he represents.
Late Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was a visionary person strongly believed in
democracy and right of the people to rule. Judicially, faithfully, honestly,
abiding laws of the country so let us all pledge dedicate to gather that the
nations will unite to abide by laws of the country and act faithfully to
preserve the safety and march ahead to built a peaceful progressive beneficial
Pakistan.
The new election are due in the near future it is the duty of the citizen of
Pakistan to go to the polls and vote for the Honest, respectable, dedicated true
Pakistani who have a clean record and enjoying respectable position. They must
not vote for the so called leaders who have a corrupt record in the past and
whose performance was not good Pakistan cannot afford another mockery democracy
and the so called selfish and greedy leaders who have already seriously damage
the image of the country in the eyes of the world without taking care as to how
Pakistan was created, loosing life of millions and passing through blood bath,
the sacrifice made by the stalwarts should not be allowed to go waste.
Patriotism, delegations must prevail and the tested greedy incumbents must not
be re-elected. As the future of the country cannot be put on trial again,
honest, patriots, deligated citizens must vote for the right people ignoring
party politics and regardless of their standing. It must be borne in mind that
economy must improve and we put on in the right line, Industry and export must
grow and produce requirements of the common men. the export must go up because
without better economy no country can progress. United State is the biggest
economic power in the world, and we must learn to improve economy so that there
is no poverty and people became self support getting rid of the poverty and
miserable conditions.
