US APOLOGY TO PAKISTAN

At last Pakistan succeeded in
forcing the US government to kneel down and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
belatedly said sorry for the incident in which Pakistani military lost the lives
of 24 troops in a NATO airstrike. This is perhaps the first time that America
officially knelt down before a country and accepted its mistake and surely this
is a great victory for Pakistani nation.
On the other hand, Clinton said that Pakistan was going to reopen its supply
lines into Afghanistan and once again NATO is going to avail this opportunity
after US apology to Pakistan whereas drone attacks are still underway on Pak’s
soil.
Pakistan’s pressure to stop NATO supply lines remained definitely successful and
it surely feels that Pakistan is at home in influential diplomacy due to which
USA withdrew and apologized but a question arises here why can’t Pakistan stem
or stop drone attacks on Pak’s soil?
A lot of innocent Pakistani’s are losing their lives by drone attacks under the
name of war against terrorism whereas US claims to have killed terrorists! Are
children, women and aged men terrorists? It is believed that Pakistani nation
never wants to reopen NATO supply lines because US not only pays dollars in
return but also claims a lot of innocent lives through drone attacks.
The Pakistani government and the military should reconsider Clinton’s statement
and should not reopen NATO supply lines in order to save the lives of innocent
Pakistanis and play a great diplomacy to stem drone attacks against Pakistan’s
integrity and surely Pakistan can do so!
