Recent crises and vacuum of
political parties in Sindh
The worst ever performance of Pakistan people’s party and serious allegation of
corruption against it put back, Due to corruption, mismanagement, the terrible
law and order situation and incompetent officials have tarnished the PPP’s
reputation in Sindh.” Icing on the cake the top leadership of PPP escape from
country in dark night it raises many questions among workers and public.
The question is this how long the top leadership of the party including Asif
Zardar, Bilawal Bhutto and Ameen Faheem will stay away from Pakistan nobody
knows when they will return. On the other hand the former coalition party of
Pakistan People’s Party, MQM also suffering from entangled situation and faces
serious kind of allegation most recent BBC’s report add fuel in fire saying that
MQM had been received Indian funds in this situation both are helpless and seek
help but no other political parties willing to help them.
However on the request of the NAB (National Accountability Bureau) rangers have
been arresting the bureaucrat who belongs to the PPP a day doesn’t go when
divulges corruption scandals. In fact higher incidence of corruption in Sindh is
an open secret.
Since last seven years whenever MQM was in trouble PPP come forward and help out
it vice versa but at this time the former coalition parties can’t help each
other. The bitter truth is that PPP is not a party with a countrywide presence
anymore. Now it is time to change in its provincial leadership is the golden
bullet that may just save it from a complete wipe-out in Sindh.
Just because of their performance in province now people of Sindh can’t trust on
them anymore people of Sindh want change in Sindh but due to lack of another
option in past both parties remain in power.
Due to above mentioned reasons creates a vacuum in Sindh, in this situation if
Imran Khan comes in Sindh to promote his party among middle class of Sindh and
avoid from feudal Peers then PTI would be a good alternative for Sindhis if PTI
concentrate on politics of Sindh and this vacuum would be filled.
If no other parties come then youth of Sindh will join the jingoistic politics
which will destroy them.¬
