Remembering 9/11/2001

-After 09/11/2001 generally
known and referred as Nine Eleven the world has gone upside down. About 3700
innocent people were killed in twin towers , world trade centre New York . USA
suffered a great jolt economically and then went into war with saboteurs or
terrorists. All the debris of world trade centre fell upon Muslim and Muslim
world . Millions of Muslims got killed in Afghanistan , Pakistan , Iraq and
other countries in repercussions . Now there is another episode of genocide
going on in Syria and adjoining areas with millions people displaced and
thousands being killed.
On that particular day my son with his family was traveling to Toronto from
Sacramento , California .We all were waiting for them impatiently. A lot of
preparations were going on in the house. Cooking, cleaning and decorating
around. My daughter in law was busy in cooking delicacies .
I was in the bed after my morning prayers that heard the phone bell rang. It was
picked up and then I heard a scary scream of her. I rushed downstairs where she
was flabbergasted looking at the TV. As I looked on, saw a plane hitting the
world trade centre's tower and then another plane did the Same. It looked like
any Disney animation, film or video game is going on. At first I thought it an
accident but the news poured in of Pentagon and the 4th one destroyed in fields
of Pennsylvania.
It was just a total chaos not knowing what's going on. Hurriedly I called my son
who was traveling to us. His wife picked up the phone and told me that their
flight returned back from mid of the air and now they are asked to go back home
In Shuttles, leaving all the stuff and car behind. They went through a great
ordeal. She told that it was announced , " we are under attack by enemy and we
have to get back." The flight back was very rough and speedy. They wondered that
who could attack America? They could only collect there hand luggage and asked
to go home in shuttles.
I got satisfied ,relieved and grateful to almighty that they are safe and
sound.
We were just glued to the news and I was praying that no Muslim name comes out.
As a curiosity I searched the passengers list but just found a couple of Muslim
names. It didn't took long and before evening it was established that this
attack was organized by Al Qaida and its operatives. For the first time we heard
about Al Qaida and rest is history .
14 years have been passed to that enormous tragedy that shook the whole world
.We are unsure and skeptical who the real culprits were?
