THE WEST IS DESTINED TO CHANGE HER OPINION

(sarwar, lahore)

“What do you think about future of Islam?” Was a question put to a suspect (Blamed of helping the Talban during their rule in Afghanistan) under interrogation by a senior American soldier. “It is very bright!” said the Muslim captive crying under the torture he was going through. “How do you your statement,” was another question? The old helpless captive said, “my answer is based on two facts:

a. “Whenever any non-Muslim force en-mass came in contact with the Muslims, in the battlefield or otherwise, it learnt many good things from the Muslims. The interaction removed many misunderstandings, ill founded misconceptions and illusions. They saw the better side of Islam/Muslims and shed away their misgivings. They carried with them eternal truth of Divine Guidance covering all spheres of their lives. Then it so happened that their next generations became the standard bearers of Islam. This is how Islam, through Tartars and Turks, reached many countries of Europe. The Crusaders were not exceptions. They bought many good points from the Muslims; “Saladin” – a beautiful poem by Lean Pole is a good reflection. Richard “the Lion Heart” and knights under his command were equally impressed by Saladin’s conduct during the Crusades.

b. “The West being educated is inquisitive – in search of “Ultimate Truth” Islam is nothing but “Ultimate Truth.” I am sure the next generations of the West will come to the graves of Talban and pray for them.”
The next day the American officer met the old man and said, “You know, last night I prayed for you.” He was changed from inside!! However, he admitted that he was helpless hence could not release him. Yvonne Ridley, a British journalist, a war correspondent and an outspoken opposition to Zionism and her criticism of the Western media portrayals the War on Terrorism, putting on burqa (covering used by a woman to hide her body completely), secretly entered Afghanistan to report upon Talban. She had some ulterior motives best known to her. She spent 10 days in Talban’s captivity and on return wrote a book “In the hands of Talban.” The nice and humane treatment she met as captive, at the hands of Talban, removed many of the ill founded prejudices. She was changed from inside and soon she embraced Islam.

The American War in Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom), launched on 7 October 2001) the longest war in the US history, was supported by G. Britain from the start till end. The war supported initially by close Allies was later joined by the NATO forces in 2003. The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF backed by Un Resolution) comprising of 34 countries (NATO countries provided the core of the force) was placed under command NATO. The aim of the invasion of Afghanistan was to dismantle al-Qaeda and to deny it a safe base of operations in Afghanistan by removing Talban from power. It was after 14 years hectic military actions against Talban that US started trying eagerly to hold successful negotiations with Talban. A Super Power could neither eliminate al-Qaeda (Its presence is still felt in Middle East) nor finish Talban - still a Potent Force in Afghanistan. Who is the Victorious?

Over 4,000 ISAF soldiers and civilian contractors as well as over 15,000 Afghan national security forces members have been killed, as well as nearly 20 thousand civilians. In October 2014, British forces handed over the last bases in Helmand to the Afghan military, officially ending their combat operations in the war.] On 28 December 2014, NATO formally ended combat operations in Afghanistan and transferred full security responsibility to the Afghan government, via a ceremony in Kabul. US is still holding a contingent of 13000 troops in Afghanistan.

The cost of the war reportedly was a major factor as U.S. officials considered drawing down troops in 2011. A March 2011Congressional Research Service report noted, 1) following the Afghanistan surge announcement in 2009, Defense Department spending on Afghanistan increased by 50%, going from $4.4 billion to $6.7 billion a month. During that time, troop strength increased from 44,000 to 84,000, and was expected to be at 102,000 for fiscal year 2011; 2) The total cost from inception to the fiscal year 2011 was expected to be $468 billion. The estimate for the cost of deploying one U.S. soldier in Afghanistan is over US$1 million a year. Leaving aside the other factors the war turned to be very expensive and became a major cause of pulling out of Afghanistan.

A blessing in disguise; the Holy Quran, in the year following fall of Twin Towers became the best seller book in USA. People in general were enthusiastic to study literature about Al-Queda, Islam, the Holy Quran, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Jihad. The incidences of conversion to Islam increased many fold.

According to UN calculations, due to war in the Middle East countries, education of more than 1, 37, 00,000 children are affected. A few years ago UN estimated that out of 1, 25, 00, 000 refugees, 47, 00, 000 were only Iraqis. If some other facts are collected: Whose resources are looted the most, the answer would be "The Muslim Countries!" Whose legal governments have been toppled? The answer is "the Muslim Countries!" Who did suffer the maximum over the past 3-4 decades, i.e. killed, wounded, crippled? Answer is "The Muslims!!" Some countries have been cut to size, who are those? The answer is "The Muslim countries!!” Many countries have been subjected to foreign aggression/extensive air raids: the answer is “Muslim Countries.”

In today's world a survey of "People below Poverty Line" will show the Muslims No. 1 on the Victory Stand. If you count the Displaced persons on our globe, the Muslims are leading and a “Survey of Disabled Persons due to War Action” will show Muslims occupying First position on the Victory Stand. All this has brought a vicious circle of horrible problems with no end in the foreseeable future. And now Paris Terrorism - Muslims will be target, how many and for how long, nobody knows!!

A Simple question to the intelligential, especially in the West, “Are the Muslims (1700 m), a substantial part of the world population, only to be KILLED, WOUNDED, INVADED, SUBJUGATED, SPLIT APART, PLUNDERED, EXPLOITED, COERCED, DICTATED TO TOE THE POLICIES OF THE MASTERS?

After the Paris Explosions the Muslims, once again, have been put on the Firing Range!! What for the innocent Syrians are being subjected to the Russian and French air raids. The situation is very precarious; the present and future generations of the Muslims are in extreme danger. Can the Muslims afford its continuity for a long time? Alas! "After California Shooting the fears of Muslim Harassment rise" The behavior of the masses of the "so called modern, civilized and enlightened Democratic country like US, clearly shows that the Nation comprises of highly volatile, irrational and imbalance personalities. And look at the immature remarks (Entry of Muslims should be banned into US, mosques be kept under constant watch and separate data base be compiled for the Muslims) of the candidate for Presidency of USA!! Rosa Hamid, an American Muslim woman, wearing a white hijab and a blue T-shirt that read: “Salam, I come in peace.” stood quietly, not saying anything, was verbally abused, shouted upon and ejected from Mr. Donald Trump’s campaign rally at Winthrop Coliseum northern South Carolina. Ms. Hamid told CNN in an interview that some of the Trump supporters sitting near her were kind and apologized as she was led out. But she said others accused her of having a bomb or shouted “Get out!” This “Islamophobia” riding on many Americans, will be condemned by the sane countrymen.

Tony Blair the former Prime Minister of G. B. was referring to the claim that Saddam's regime possessed weapons of mass destruction, which was used by the U.S. and British governments to launching the invasion. But the intelligence reports the claim was based on turned out to be false. Blair told that besides the flawed Iraq intelligence, he also apologized "for some of the mistakes in planning and, certainly, our mistake in our understanding of what would happen once you removed the regime (Saddam Hussain)." What a belated realization on the part of Tony Blair!! Over two million Iraqi Muslims were killed. According to UN estimates, out of 1, 23, 00, 000 refugees in the world, 47,00,000 were Iraqis. The War under American command brought untold miseries for the Iraqis. It ruined the country totally. Tens of thousands of Iraqis, more than 4,000 U.S. troops and 179 British service members were killed in the lengthy conflict. The process of destruction started by the blind, deaf and dumb personalities like Tony Blair, is still going on. The country is bleeding. Those distributing “Deaths” must be punished as War Criminals” and no “Sorry” or “Apology” should be accepted from them. Let us make our Planet peaceful and worth living. The rulers in the West will, one after the other, realize that their follies in approving military action against the Muslim countries in the past 2-3 decades were, in fact, extremely dangerous from all angles.

The West has realized the mistakes it made in the past regarding attack on Afghanistan. Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni says the world is still paying the price of a misguided ‘war on terror’ launched by the United States in reaction to the 9/11 2001 attacks on its soil. In a defence of Italy’s decision not to actively participate in the current bombing campaign against the so-called Islamic State group in Iraq and Syria, Gentiloni argued Wednesday(7-1-2016) that defeating terrorism would take more than a generation to achieve and that military action could only play a limited role.“We are still paying, after 15 years, the consequences of what was supposed to be a lightning war to eliminate the terrorist threat,” He was of the opinion that Italy had not erred by rebuffing France’s call on its allies to join an intensified anti-IS bombing campaign after the Paris attacks. It is not unreasonable to make a fair assumption that many sane persons from the West will soon join Paolo Gentiloni.
