In recognition of a good resume
by Mian Muhammad Ashraf Asmi, on book کروں تیرے نام پہ جاں فدا (Written by
Muhammad Kashaf Raza), I congratulate both Advocate Ashraf Asmi and Kashaf Raza.
The Resume and the Book are really a reflection of love, respect and the degree
of attachment we have with our Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). I am sure such
efforts will continue, in future as well, whereby no body dares to make
derogatory utterances against Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
No Muslim can claim that his Emaan is complete if he has more love to his self,
or parents or offspring or other worldly things than the love he has for the
Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him). This is the attachment which warrants that
anyone indulging in act of blasphemy is liable to be punished by death. And if
the State fails to execute such person, some Ghazi Ilam Din Shaheed or Mumtaz
Qadri Shaheed, not caring for his life, will dispose off the culprit. And this
is definitely going to continue till Dome’s Day!!
Mumtaz Qadri, through his Shahadat, has left many questions to be answered by
his ideological heirs:
1. Where were those with impressive personalities, well dressed, having nice
turbans/caps as headgears, appearing on Bill Boards, Posters, Flexes, and Ads,
claiming to have Ishq i-Rasool (Peace be upon him) manifested through the titles
they have with their names as Fiery speakers, Religious stalwarts, Allama,
outstanding Qari, Leading Naat Khawan, and well reputed Organizers/ Sponsors of
various programs like Mahafal-i-Naat etc? What did they do for Qadri to save him
from gallows? They never took it seriously hence failed miserably!!
2. Why did not any of the above mentioned categories of people come forward and
take the lead? It is Lamha -i- Fiqria for all of them!!
3. Mumtaz Qadri’s Janaza congregation was the biggest in the history of
Pakistan. It was attended by more than 1200,000 followers of all Muslaks. The
old, the middle aged, the young, people with long, short and without beard, or
with mostauches, the Muslims with covered or uncovered heads, ALL LINED UP
BEHIND ONE IMAM. Such a scene of religious unity/harmony was never seen for the
last many decades!! What efforts have been made to foster this unity? If some
steps have been taken, the results are not visible. The Sunnis (provided they
come out of their shelf) could mobilize this unity for Enforcement of
Nizam-i-Islam, Cancellation of Women Empowerment Act, Ceasation of Government’s
actions against Madaras etc.
4. What did happen to culprits of Blasphemy acts. Many of them have been
punished by courts. What about their execution? Are they being slipped out of
Pakistan, discretely?
5. What for did a mob go to Islamabad? Why should they damage the Public
property and earn a bad name? Were they strenghting Mumtaz Qadri’s cause?
Nay,not.
6. What about the promotion of alien culture, nudity, vulgarity, through Dramas,
Fashion Shows, Cat Walks, Musical Shows held even in schools/colleges, Women
Kabaddi, Cricket, Hockey and Weight Lifting teams/matches in and outside
Pakistan, and their wide coverage on Media? Have the Religious Sunnis leadership
done something to control this menace?
7. Corruption, Terrorism and Foreign loans have affected badly all the spheres
of our lives. Should we not suggest ways and means to control these major
irritating issues? If so, we must take the lead and be pioneer. We have man
power, resources and dedicated people full of vigor and initiative. Either we
should invite others to join us or we should extend all possible cooperation to
those who are striving to harness these giants. It is not time to sit idle.
I am sure the personalities at the helm of affairs will ponder over my
submissions and do something which is good for the country and our future
generations. Long live Islam and Pakistan. We have to keep Islam at the
forefront and relegate Muslak to the background.
