Muhammad Shoaib Tanoli’s
article کسی مرد کو بلاو is nothing but a reminder/replay of events before 1971
War. Let me submit a few lines for the information of those claiming to be heirs
to the the ideological legacy of the Founder of Pakistan, running the affairs of
the State, serving the people of Pakistan, the policy makers and those who have
to defend the Motherland from the future cultural and physical onslaught at the
hands of our enemy No.1 i.e. Bharat.
Before the start of active support of insurgency movement by Bharat in
1970-1971, in former East Pakistan, Indra Ghandi, the then Lady Prime Minister
of Bharat, in a short span of less than a year, visited seven countries and was
successful in mobilizing the World leaders / public opinion against Pakistan,
whereas General M. Yahya Khan, the “Mard” President of Islami Jamhooria Pakistan
and his “Capable cabinet” could not appreciate the intended threat to the
solidarity of the country. He did not feel like leaving Islamabad even for a
single day. As he was sure that he would not get any positive response from any
World leader, he did not put himself in embarrasing position. Both the head of
the State and the Foreign Minister took Indra’s visits as normal. The Ruling
Janta kept sleeping and so was the nation. We lost the war before its start!!
We, in West Pakistan, had very selfish political leadership – who directed all
his efforts for the attainment of only one objective: "Be the Top Man in the
country." The complete failure of the ruling Janta in Islamabad on diplomatic
front and crookery by the extremely selfish political leader of West Pakistan
(Z.A Bhutto tore of the Polish Resolution suggesting cease fire and holding of
plebiscite in East Pakistan _ a far better and honourable solution than the out
come of 1971 War), worked well in bringing the "Blackest day of Islamic history
- 93,000 prisoners, the country split into two parts). The nation had no option
but to accept West Pakistan majority party leader (Who as per Legal Framework
Order had no legal authority to become) as Civilian Chief Martial Law
Administrator, and subsequently as President and after some time (as per his own
wish, benefits) assume the post of “Prime Miniter” of Pakistan. What a
charismatic and selfish leader we had!
The efficiency and attitude of the present Ruling Janta at the Center, and the
political atmosphere prevalent in the country and abroad especially around
Pakistan, has many similarities with the situation prevalent in pre 1971 War
era: the Prime Minister was out of the country for 48 days (since 22 June) for
Heart Surgery (Nowhere in the world a Prime Minister has been away from the
country for such a long duration). There was no Prime Minister. The “Adhoc
arrangements", in complete violation of the Constitution of Pakistan, proved
three things; the Parliament was without any leader of the house, it was
ineffective, the Cabinet was ineffective and in case of any emergency at
national level there was none to give decision. It also affected the efficiency
of the so called “Good Governess.” The country was being run on “Adhockism.” The
foreign Dignataries/Diplomats were shy of visiting Pakistan / holding meetings
with Senator Ishaq Dar, who, without any Notification, was looking after the
affairs of the State, in partnership with Maryam Nawaz (She is neither MNA nor
MPA, hence has no legal authority to see any of the files concerning affairs of
the State). Every one remained mum over this pathetic state of affairs (This
situation is more or less alike the one prevailing during Z.A. Bhutto’s regime
when no one could dare to raise a finger on his running of the affairs of the
State)!!
In the absence of a proper Foreign Minister since 2013 the country has suffered
a lot on international front. Over the last 3-4 years we have not made any
worthwhile gain. Pakistan has been surrounded by Bharat through pacts with Iran
(Slowly and gradually slipping into India’s lap) and Afghanistan, no more our
reliable neighbor, and all out to discredit us in all fields/at all forums, (Our
own fault; we did every thing possible to up-rooting a friendly government of
Taalban when we had safe Western border; no terrorist activities in Pakistan
during their rule, and many other advantages from military point of view)
playing to the tune of Bharat especially after the trica
(Bharat-Iran-Afghanistan) emerging after very heavy investment by Bharat for the
development of Chah Bahar port of Iran.
The strained relations with all the opposition political parties have cast
shadows on internal policies; the foreign sponsored terrorist activities in the
country have created an atmosphere of fear and uncertainity and coupled with the
issue of Pana Leaks preoccupying the minds of the Ruling Janta, have paralysed
the Federal Government _ all the Ministers, instead of concentrating and toiling
to improve the efficiency of their respective ministries, are damn busy in
defending the Prime Minister and his family over Panama Leaks issue. Most of the
ministers have been tasked for spreading rmours, misunderstanding, confusion,
misinformation, defamation and “Blame-gaming the Opposition.” The nation is
bewildered over the indifference attitude of the Government functionaries in
solving problems of the masses!! Pakistan is a poor country, under heavy debt
especially foreign debt, even every newly born child has to pay Rs: 1,20,000/-
On the other side the extraordinary expenditure from the State exchequer, on
personal comforts and trips / air journey, both by the PM, his Cabinet members
and relatives, through PIA Boeing 777 with no justification, has dismayed the
masses, once again??. This This heavy expenditure could have been avoided
easily.
If we compare the prevailing condition of our country with that of pre 1971 War
period, we will hardly find any difference. Narenra Moodi, the Prime Minister of
Bharat, who was graded “The Top Mad Man on the Globe” and “One of the Top Ten
Terrorists of the World” by the Western press, and whose entry, because of his
terrorist activities in Bharat against the Muslims and encouragement of such
activities against other minorities of India, was once banned in USA, in a short
span of a year or so, has visited more than 30 countries. None of these visits
was “Private” or for “Medical Check Up / Treatment, or to look after his own
foreign interests. He has signed many contracts with China, South Korea,
Malaysia, Singapore, Iran, Afghanistan, all the Central Asian States, UAE,
Qatar, Behrain, Saudia Arabia, France, Germany, U K, Russia, Canada, and USA,
which will not only bootst up his country’s economic development but are also
dangerous to Pakistan as these will increase Bharat’s military might manifold
and potential for aggression especially against neighbouring countries, of
which, Pakistan is the only hardle in the establishment of her long cherished
goal “Akhand Baharat.”
Through his visits, Moodi has made meaningful ingress in UAE, Gulf States, and
even in Saudia Arabia. During his visit to Saudia Arabia he met the Interior
Minister, the Defence Minister and the King of Saudi Arabia. He was decorated
with the “Highest Civil Award” by the Saudi King. He has been successful in
mobilizing Iran and Afghanistan for quick and extensive improvement of the Port
of Chah Bahar in Iran - only to subdue the importance of Gawadar in the coming
years. He held warm and very beneficial meetings with Obama, signing many
agreements, Obama was over joyed by meeting Prime Minister Moodi, who was
labelled as “Terrorist” and whose entry had been banned in USA.
In fact once again, we have closed our eyes from the events happenng in and
around Pakistan and especially the dangerous moves of the Indian leadership to
isolate Pakistan. The reign of terror in the Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and
brutal/indiscriminate killings of the Kashmiris, during Ramazan and following
month has exposed Pakistan Government’s policy. The Muslim League Government is
prepared to remain low and not to show violent reaction. Pakistani politicians,
in the past have been providing relief to Baharat even at the cost of our
Strategic interests: Benazir provided lists of Sikh militants. Nawaz Sharif
increased Indian trade manifold. He is of the firm view that the Thin Line
between Pakistan and India is of no importance as the people of both the
countries have many similarities. He forgot that these similarities existed when
our forefathers under the leadership of Quaid - i - Azam decided for Indepndence
from British and not to go under Hindu rule. To the best of our capabilities our
short sighted Politicians, have been helping Bharat on all fronts and they will
continue doing so. We will have to get rid of them.
A simple and touchy question to the Patriot Pakistanis working in any field or
of any status _ If the prevalent facts in the country have a lot of resemblance
with the Pre 1971 War situation, should the effects be different from that of
the out come of 71 War? I am not a cynic. The analysi is only to open our eyes.
I am sure none of us want to see another debacle like Dhaka!! May Allah Almighty
save us!! Surely, He will, but we have to prepare ourselves for the impeding
dangers, mend our ways and make stern efforts to revive the commitment made to
Allah Almighty by those striving for Independence and carving, through a Blood
bath, a State for the Muslims of the Sub-continent.
