Ingredients
  1. • Beef boneless (cut in strips) 1/2 kg
  2. • Ginger and garlic paste 3 tbs
  3. • Salt to taste
  4. • Black pepper to taste
  5. • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  6. • Red chili powder 1 tbsp or to taste
  7. • Crushed red chili 1/2 tsp
  8. • All spice powder ½ tsp
  9. • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  10. • Fried onion paste 1/2 cup
  11. • Mustard oil 200 ml
  12. • Ripe papaya paste ½ cup
  13. • For Tawa Paratha:
  14. • All purpose flour 2 cup
  15. • Water as required
  16. • Clarified butter 2 tbsp
  17. • Salt a pinch
  18. • Eggs 1
Method
  • 1. In a bowl, mix together ginger and garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, crushed red chili, all spice, coriander powder,
  • 2. onion paste, papaya paste, black pepper,
  • 3. Salt to taste and mustard oil.
  • 4. Now add the beef strips in marinade and leave it for rest for 12 hours.
  • 5. Grill the marinated beef strips on a charcoal grill.
  • 6. Serve hot with mint chutney, onion ringlet and tawa paratha.
  • For Tawa Paratha:
  • 1. Mix flour, pinch of salt, egg, and clarified butter in a bowl.
  • 2. Add required water and knead to form a soft dough.
  • 3. Cover and leave it to rest for 1 hour.
  • 4. Make small balls of the dough and leave them on a try for 15 minutes.
  • 5. Take a rolling pin, roll out the dough ball on a floured surface.
  • 6. Place the rolled out dough on a hot griddle.
  • 7. Let it cook for 45 seconds, turn and spread a little clarified butter on that one side.
  • 8. Turn, reduce heat to medium and spread clarified butter on the other side too.
  • 9. Take the paratha off the griddle when golden on both sides.
