Ingredients
  1. 6 green corncobs
  2. 3 tblsps oil
  3. ¼ tsp mustard seeds
  4. a pinch of asafetida
  5. 1 cup milk
  6. salt to taste
  7. 2 tsps sugar
  8. ½ tsp turmeric
  9. 6 green chillies (chopped)
  10. a small piece of ginger (Chopped)
  11. 1 tblsp coriander leaves (chopped) juice of one lemon
Method
  • Wash and grate the corn off the cobs. Heat oil in a kadat, and throw in the mustard seeds. When they begin crackle, add corn, stir, then put in milk, salt, sugar, turmeric. chillies and ginger. Stir well till it becomes a thick paste, making sure it does not stick to the bottom 01 the pan. Remove.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves. If desired, sprinkle fryer with fresh coconut. Finally, pour over the lemon juice. Serve hot.
