Ingredients
  1. 1) Maple Lodge Farms Skinless Chicken Thighs 8
  2. 2) toasted sliced almonds, coarsley chopped 1/2 cup / 125 ml
  3. 3) seasoned or plain dry breadcrumbs 1/2 cup / 125 ml
  4. 4) melted butter 1 tsp / 15 ml
  5. 5) salt and pepper (optional)
  6. 6) egg 1
Method
  • 1. Combine almonds, bread crumbs, butter, and salt and pepper (if using plain crumbs).
  • 2. In separate shallow dish, beat egg with 1 tsp (15 ml) water.
  • 3. Dip chicken into egg mixture then into crumb mixture, turning to coat and shaking off excess.
  • 4. Bake on greased baking sheet at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 35 minutes or until golden and juices run clear when chicken is pierced.
