Daal Paratha recipe by Shireen Anwar. This delightful Main Course recipe of Daal Paratha can be ready in approximately 30 Minutes and good to serve around 2-4 People. Follow all the steps recommended by Chef to get a perfect dish. Hide

INGREDIENTS

Chana daal 4 ounce
Salt ½ tsp
Chili powder ½ tsp
Allspice ½ tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Onion chopped 1 tbsp
Water 1 cup
Flour 2 cups
Wheat flour 1 cup
Salt ½ tsp

METHOD

Boil daal with Salt ½ tsp, Chili powder ½ tsp, Allspice ½ tsp and water, when tender grind, heat oil 2 tbsp fry chopped onion add grinded daal, fry for 5 minutes, cool.
Knead together into medium dough; keep aside for 30 minutes covered. Then make balls from the dough, flatten it fill with daal, roll to form into a paera, roll again to a quarter plate size paratha, cook on tawa, adding ghee as required. Serve hot.
