Ingredients
  1. Chana daal 4 ounce
    Salt ½ tsp
    Chili powder ½ tsp
    Allspice ½ tsp
    Oil 2 tbsp
    Onion chopped 1 tbsp
    Water 1 cup
    Flour 2 cups
    Wheat flour 1 cup
    Salt ½ tsp
Method
  • Boil daal with Salt ½ tsp, Chili powder ½ tsp, Allspice ½ tsp and water, when tender grind, heat oil 2 tbsp fry chopped onion add grinded daal, fry for 5 minutes, cool.
    Knead together into medium dough; keep aside for 30 minutes covered. Then make balls from the dough, flatten it fill with daal, roll to form into a paera, roll again to a quarter plate size paratha, cook on tawa, adding ghee as required. Serve hot.
