Ingredients
  1. Mutton 1 kg boiled
    Chana daal 250 gm boiled
    Oil½ cup
    Onion brown1 cup
    Ginger garlic paste 1 ½ tbsp
    Chili powder 3 tsp
    Allspice 1 tsp
    Salt 1 ½ tsp
    Turmeric ½ tsp
    Tomatoes 4 chopped
    Green chilies and coriander chopped as required
    Cloves 6 roasted and grinded
    Cinnamon 2 sticks roasted and grinded
    Black cardamom 2 roasted and grinded
Method
  • Boil chana daal until just tender, dry roast cloves, cinnamon, black cardamom and coriander seeds, grind all to a coarse powder, keep aside, heat oil in a wok add ginger garlic paste with boiled mutton, chopped tomatoes, brown onion, chili powder, salt, turmeric, fry for 10 minutes until tomatoes tender, add 1 cup water, cover and cook till mutton done, add in allspice, roasted and grinded masala, boiled daal, chopped coriander and green chilies, leave it on dum for 10 minutes, serve with paratha or roti
