INGREDIENTS

Chana daal 200 gm boiled
Lockey 200 gm cut in 2 inch cubes
Whole big green chilies 4
Allspice ½ tsp
Tomatoes 2 finely chopped
Roasted cumin crushed 1 tsp
Ginger garlic 1 tsp
Onion 1 sliced
Turmeric ½ tsp
Salt 1 tsp heaped
Chili powder 1 ½ tsp
Oil ½ cup
Curry leaves 15
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp

METHOD

Heat oil add curry leaves, mustard seeds, sliced onion, fry till golden brown, add ginger garlic paste, salt, chili powder, turmeric and chopped tomatoes, fry well, add chopped lockey with ½ cup water, cover and cook till done, add boiled daal, green chilies, cumin crushed, allspice, coriander leaves, leave it on dum for 10 minutes.
