Ingredients
  1. Spaghetti 500 gram
  2. Bolognese sauce:-
  3. Olive oil 2 tbsp
  4. Mushroom, sliced 220 g
  5. Carrot, finally chopped 1
  6. Onion finally chopped 1
  7. Chilli powder ½ tsp
  8. Lean beef mince 500 g
  9. Prociutto or becon, finally chopped 155 g
  10. Ground nutmeg
  11. Dry red wine ¾ cup
  12. Tomato paste ½ cup
  13. Undrained and mashed
  14. Water ½ cup
  15. Black pepper
Method
  • • To make sauce heat oil in a large frying pan and cook mushroom ,carrot and onion for 4-5 minutes or until onion is soft.
  • • Add beef and prociutto or bacon to pan and cook over a medium heat, stirring to break up meat for 4 minutes or until meat changes color. Drain off any fat and season to taste with nutmeg
  • • Stir wine, tomato paste tomatoes and water into pan. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes or until sauce reduce and thickens. Season to taste with black pepper
  • • Cook spaghetti in boiling water in a large following packet direction. Drain place in warmed serving bowl.
