Ingredients
  1. 200 gm Red Kidney beans
  2. to taste Salt
  3. 2 tbps Ginger & garlic paste
  4. 1 large Onion finely sliced
  5. 1 Cup Fresh tomatoes puree
  6. 3 nos Green chilies chopped
  7. 1/4 tsp Coriander powder
  8. 1/2 tbsp Whole white cumin seeds
  9. 1 tsp Red chili powder
  10. 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  11. 2 tsp Oil
  12. 1/2 Cup Plain Yoghurt
Method
  • Clean & wash the Rajmas (Red Kidney beans) & soak overnight.
  • Boiled the soak Rajmas, till they are cooked to soft & tender. Take a wok.
  • Put on the fire, put 02 tbs oil, as the oil get warm, put 1/2 tbps whole white cumin seeds in it. When it crackles, add sliced onions in it, saute it till it turn to golden color.
  • Now add ginger & garlic paste in it, & add tomato puree, saute it. Now add green chilies, coriander powder, cumin powder, Red chili powder, yoghurt & salt to taste. Cook the masala for 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Add the boiled rajma into the masala, put a cup of water, and cook it for another
  • 15 to 20 minutes on medium flame. Garnish with green coriander leaves.
  • Serve it with hot Chapattis & boiled white rice.
