Ingredients
  1. Milk 2 cups
  2. Sugar ½ cup
  3. Vanilla custard powder 2 tbsp
  4. Bread 6 slices
  5. Cream ½ cup
  6. pistachios 1 tbsp
  7. Glace cherries 1 tbsp
  8. water ¼ cup
  9. Ghee ½ cup
Method
  • Cut slices of bread into triangles and fry in ghee till light brown.
  • After frying put n absorbent paper.
  • In another pan boil milk, sugar and water and stir until sugar dissolves.
  • When milk comes to a boil, drop the fried bread and allow soaking up the milk.
  • Remove the bread and place in a serving dish.
  • Make a thin paste of custard powder, the rest of the sugar and milk and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Pour over the bread and decorate with cream cherries and pistachios.
  • Serve chilled.
