Ingredients
  1. 1 large onion 1 clove garlic
  2. 1-inch piece fresh root ginger
  3. 1 lb. cooked meat
  4. 8 oz. potatoes, boiled
  5. 3 tablespoons oil
  6. ½ teaspoon chilli powder
  7. ½ teaspoon garam masala
  8. ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  9. Salt to taste
Method
  • Finely chop onion and garlic; mince ginger; cut meat and potatoes into inch cubes. Fry onions and garlic in oil to brown. Add ginger, chilli powder, garam masala and turmeric, then fry for a few minutes. Add meat, potatoes and salt and heat thoroughly before serving. This dish should be quite dry with no gravy.
