Ingredients
  1. 1) 4 Veal steaks 3/4 kg
  2. 2) Thick each 3/4 inch
  3. 3) Tongue 4 slices
  4. 4) Cheddar cheese 4 slices
  5. 5) Flour 2 tbsp
  6. 6) Eggs 2
  7. 7) Breadcrumbs,dried 3 tbsp
  8. 8) Butter 3 tbsp
  9. 9) Lemon 1
  10. 10) Lettuce leaves
  11. 11) Salt
  12. 12) White pepper
Method
  • 1. Make horizontal incisions in veal steaks to make deep pockets.
  • 2. Flatten steaks slightly with the palm of your hand and season with salt and pepper.
  • 3. Slide a slice of tongue and cheese each into each pocket and fasten opening with wooden cocktail stick.
  • 4. Roll steaks in flour, and beaten egg and finally in breadcrumbs.
  • 5. Heat the butter and fry steaks 6-8 minutes on each side until well browned.
  • 6. Arrange them on a heated serving dish and garnish with lemon wedges and lettuce leaves.
