HOW MY PAKISTAN SHOULD BE

(Abdul Rehman, )

This year we celebrated 70th independence day in the history of Pakistan but still we are struggling and are present in the list of developing countries the main reasons behind that are low literacy rate, improper governance, law and order situation, corruption, standard of education is not up to the mark, people of every level do not properly follow the teachings of Islam that are present in quran and sunnah, so below in this article I will point out some problems and will try to give solution for these problems so that Pakistan a become a prosperous and developed country.

Pakistan was made so that muslims should follow their fundamental teachings, culture and practice islam in every aspect of their life with freedom, without any fear but people in Pakistan are not following islam completely in every stage and field of life.

The literacy rate of Pakistan is low as compared with the developed countries and according to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) it is 55% and Pakistan stands at 160th in total countries of the world, the other problem is that there is difference in standard of education of a local government school and a private schools, to progress the education for the people of our country should be same all over Pakistan and the curriculum should be updated time to time with international standards from school level to university level.

The other obstacle behind Pakistan’s progress is that people that are ruling the country are not so qualified and repeat the same mistakes that they have done before, they do not properly understand the present problems of Pakistan and do not provide appropriate solution for that, the solution is that the government should follow the policies of developed counties such as TURKEY now a days that how in last 50 years they have become a muslim power.

The law and order situation is better than before but it needs improvement, there should be no politics in selection of candidates it should be on merit and the selected people should be given proper training so that they can deal with the different situations as well as the law should be same and strict for every citizen of Pakistan.

The level of corruption in my country is very high people do not pay their taxes efficiently and as result the government takes loans from the other countries and in result the economy of our country is effected very badly and is going down so there should be a system through which all individuals of Pakistan should pay their taxes and if not there should a dead line that after the following time period the tax will be automatically be taken from accounts.

Another problem is that governments do not know the problems of a common man so the power should be transferred to the grass roots of every area of our country and every citizen has the right to share his or her problem with higher authorities, so to solve this, one of the governments indivisual should come online or on telephone and spend some time daily or weekly hearing the problems of people through calls, emails and they may appear on radio and answer their querries , it will be a good move to know and solve the problem of a common man.

Energy crisis is another major issue of Pakistan which can be solved by creating new policies and setting short and long term targets, efforts should be made for promoting power generation through renewable energy and energy conservation by adopting its tips.

So by following these steps I think Pakistan will gradually progress and one day we shall see Pakistan in the list of developed countries.
