Will You Lead Pakistan?

(Muhammad Ali, Lahore)

“A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don't necessarily want to go, but ought to be.”

Above quotation is perfectly describing a normal society tone. We live in Pakistan, where abnormalities are routine of life. Currently we have a democratic government, but without a public spirit. We are raising voices against PPP led government, but what we have for backup.

All people look towards Nawaz Sharif. We must accept that he is a political birth of General Zia ul Haq.He ruled the government for two times. Although he did some good deeds but also the wrong one. After military coup in 1999, he behaved like a mature politician. After 2008 general election he acted in a friendly opposition mood. He is still performing his friendly role. He just raised voice against government over public issues but in practice he did nothing. You can see what he can do. He utilized his full power to restore judges, because of his own interest. Why he is not doing long march for public benefit. It is a big question mark for all PML(N) supporters.

PML(Q) has no courage to arrange a long march. They know well where they stand in public eyes. Imran Khan always raised voice against government and PML(N), but why he did not arrange a long march against Federal government. In this way, he would get a good catch in public eyes. Why Jami at-e-Islam did not arrange a protest against government in form of long march. Why MQM says that revolution is coming but is not ready to ride for it.

All these political parties have there own political benefits and limitations. They can cross any limit for their own benefit but not for public interest. Why you vote these quasi leaders? It is also a big mystery about poor and merciful people of Pakistan. They say they have no other option. What a poor answer for a inadequate stance.

Are you(reader) has no capacity to lead the nation? A foolish argument! I agree. Remember dear, leader is one who has courage to speak for justice,Who is committed for principles. I am sure every true Pakistani would have it.

Do not waste time by expecting anything good from these disguised leaders. They will only give you what they have in their own interest. After that, there is no point to say;

" Will you lead Pakistan?".
