The government is trying very
hard to convince the opposition political parties and people to get RGST bill
passed by National Assembly. After the RGST, it is confirmed by experts that
prices of many basic commodities will go up and it will directly attack middle
class and poor people.
On the one hand, the government some time ago increased the salary of employees
by few margin and on other hand, it is imposing RGST, which will take all the
increment of the salary, which is given by it.
If the government is really serious in controlling inflation and solving poor
people's problem, then it must control its own expense and must implement tax on
agricultural income.
