Global warming and we

What comes to our mind when we hear the word global warming. In recent times, everyone has become more aware of this frequently heard word. We listen to this word on the media, TV channels, radio and social platforms. So, after all what is it all about? The global warming is a phenomenon when the earth goes through unnatural climate changes. The differences we see the variations of seasons and their timings, the changes in the pattern of rain and rise of the sea levels are the major consequences of this term global warming.

Global warming has these very adverse effects, the variation is season is a aspect everyone should really be worried about. It is a disruption in the natural life cycle of seasons. People are dependent on seasons especially the agricultural industry. They calculate when they need rainfall and what items to grow that will have the best yield but due to the factor of global warming they cannot predict anymore. Thus, you can see how major the impact of global warming is.

Due to increase temperature, the global warming brings, the snow on the mountains melts very quickly, raising the river/sea levels. One of the affects that we have seen because of this are the rise in the number of floods that are occurring. Now the floods have become a norm and it brings a lot off damage with it. Not only just it takes take the lives of people and damages their property/belongings but also have a major impact on the economy of the country where the flood has occurred.

Acid rain is also very crucial affects. The pollutants released from factories when mix with the rain forms acid rain. When this rain occurs, it causes damages to our skin and crops/fruits. We are finally the consumers of these crops/fruits so we all get affected by this.

After seeing some of the disastrous affects do we think we should care a little more about planet earth. Of course, the answer is yes. The authorities who have control should implement measures to control the global warming. The factories or fuel-based plants that are the leading causes of global warming should be run by using prudent practices and authorities should make sure they follow it. This will control the amount of carbon-dioxide and other gases that contribute to global warming and will bring a notable decrease in the amount of global warming.

Authorities apart, we as individuals should also play our role in minimizing the global warming. We should protect the trees as they take carbon-dioxide from the environment and return oxygen. We should not do the unnecessary cutting of trees. Also, we should make sure our cars have catalytic converters installed so that they do not emit harmful gases. We should also limit the use of aerosol sprays as they are also a great source of global warming.

Lastly, this earth is our home. If we will not take care of it who else will? We have to take care of our home for our future generations to come. So that they can acknowledge our efforts and have a better place to live in which is in its natural state.
