Democracy in Pakistan and Role of Aliens

Expected Party Position Election 2018

According to Abraham Lincoln, “Democracy is the form of government for the people, by the people, and through the people”

Democracy is the most powerful form of government. It is also regarded as the decisive form of government. It requires active participation of people in the decision making process. Without public collaboration, democracy cannot flourish properly. It is the most favorable form of government as well. Father of our nation Quaid-a-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was the staunch supporter of public participation in government formulation, He always stressed on its importance and implementation.

A well-known scholar Dr Hassan Askari rightly defines democracy in precise and appropriate manner. According to him It is a process which people initiates by conscious decision and sustain by subscribing to its principle by theory and practices.

Here the question arises about the nature of democracy, The nature of democracy is evolutionary. It can`t be achieved at once, It is the lengthy process that requires strong collaboration. Democracy was born in England in 18th century, Before industrial revolution concentration of wealth was under the control of feudal lords. History clearly reflects that feudal class was great threat for the establishment of democratic practices, After Industrial revolution wealth was divided and distributed. It was birth of Middle class that promoted democracy in different countries.

Pakistan as a sovereign state came into existence on 14 august 1947, Since independence Pakistan has been facing a lot of turbulence in the path of democracy.
The main causes of failure of democracy in Pakistan are political instability, regular interventions by aliens, lack of accountability, feudal dispensation, extremism, weak civil society and absence of leadership.

Alien intervention in the democratic path is regarded as a dead blow in the way of democracy. In Pakistan, democracy faced several alien intrusions, which were the menace for democracy. The monopolization and centralization of power have created a lot of problem for this poor nation.

Unfortunately in Pakistan democracy is mostly dependent on aliens, they never allowed institutions to be strengthened up to such a level where sustainability can be assured. They intentionally kept feudals, capitalists and incompetent people in politics to weaken institutions rather strengthening them. In every election common man dreams of real change or revolution but in the end aliens decide which team will won, who is best suitable for their Interests irrespective of incompetency or corruption.

Election 2018 won’t be very much different from previous elections, Aliens are trying to bring new actors from previous plays on the name of change, modernization and accountability to allure youth of this country. These new players have played several innings in past and are very famous for their corruption, malpractices and changing loyalties so will they strengthen democracy ?.
Democratic paths are not easy or there is no shortcut to implement democracy, to create awareness about democracy you need to understand democracy first. Speaking ill about someone is not democracy, speaking truth is democracy, democracy is name of standing still on your point without any flexibility or u turns unfortunately tabdeli party in Pakistan does not have any of these qualities or at least breach all these things on multiple occasions in past .

After a careful estimation no political party till this time is in a position to gain sole majority, scientifically it has been made impossible to acquire sole majority to ensure strong democratic government in Pakistan . Most probably it will be a coalition government combining different actors with different interests together, honestly it is just like mixing white and black together so no legislation could be agreed or passed and democracy remain once again crippled.

Once again this will be a victory of aliens and not democracy in Pakistan.

Live Long Pakistan!
