On September 11, 2001, unknown attackers hijacked four airplanes. Among them two
of the planes were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New
York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the
fourth plane crashed in a field in Shanks Ville, Pennsylvania. Almost 3,000
people were killed during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which triggered the United
States the US to launch an anti-terror attack against Muslim states. A military
attack on Afghanistan after Iraq was conducted. Pakistan has helped the US in
this war on terror. It continued for 19 years. The hold of Taliban´s from Kabul
has been washed out. Now, with the help of Pakistan peace talks among US and
Afghan Taliban are continued.
With the mutual cooperation of Afghan and Pakistani security agencies, the wave
of terrorism has been controlled. In this war on terror, around 70,000 Pakistani
people had lost their lives including personnel from security agencies. To
control the wave of terrorism, Pakistan army has conducted different military
operations in Swat, Fata, mainly North, South Waziristan, and Wana. Major
military operations like operation Zarbe Azab and operation rad ul faced has
helped Pakistan to bring peace and prosperity in respective areas. The range of
Operation Rad ul Fasad has been expanded to the whole country to eradicate
terrorism, terrorism financing and adjuvant of terrorism. Cross border fencing
between Pakistan and Afghanistan has also helped to stop terrorist movements
among both countries.
Discussing more! Previously, according to the Global Travel and Tourism Report
by the World Economic Forum 2016, Pakistan was the fourth most dangerous country
in the world, the report, ranking countries on ‘Safety and Security’, gave
Pakistan a score of 3.04, while Finland, the safest country in the world, had a
score of 6.7. The bottom of the list was dominated by countries in Latin
America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. To be honest, very few people are
aware of the potential of this country. On the global front, nobody knew about
Pakistan what kind of country it is and is there any tourism places like
Switzerland,or what kind of culture and traditions in Pakistan.
Situations gradually improved with the passage of time.
Due to better foreign policy and improved security situations, tourism in
Pakistan has flourished. The opening of the KartarPura corridor has opened a new
door towards religious tourism in Pakistan. Besides tourism, this corridor has
shown Pakistan’s brighter face to the world. It is expected that Pakistan can
earn an aggregated income from 4 to 5 billion dollars from this site only. The
softened visa policy adds traveler-friendly facilities like e-visa has been
introduced to increase tourism. “Forbes” and “British” backpacker society has
declared Pakistan as the most adventurous destination and coolest country to
travel in the year 2020. A journey from terrorism to tourism has a beautiful
destination named "Pakistan"
Concluding more! Pakistan army has played a vital role in
bringing law and order situation under control. Terrorism has been eliminated
and the immense efforts have worked. The target of peaceful and prosperous
Pakistan has been achieved by the mutual efforts of security agencies and the
people of Pakistan. With the eradication of terrorism, tourism has been brought
to the country.If the tourism industry and other government institutions kept on
working in the same direction, more tourists will be attracted to the country.
Blessed with multifold topography, and prime geographical location provides
Pakistan a great chance to earn from tourism.
