CALIFORNIAN DOCTORS’ VIRAL VIDEO VIEWED BY 5 MILLION, VANISHED? WHAT WAS WRENCHING IN IT?

 An hour long video of two doctors from California; Dr. Dan Erickson and Artin Massihi that had more than 5 million views. Both are co-owner of Accelerated Urgent Care. They held a press conference on YouTube and presented flurry of corona virus data and then interpreted them in the light of their own long clinical experience and suggested viable modus operandi to cope corona calamity and coinage crisis.

Dr. Erickson said: “I am following flu season for the past 15 years, we have flue in December to March in spite of the fact, we have vaccine from flu. But how well that is working? We have about 60,000 deaths from flu in 2017-2018 and we had vaccine so we have a conversation about herd immunity and proposed to let it run”. Probably Doctors’ disclosure about disability of vaccine; hit hard on pharmaceutical economic interest?

Dr. Erickson spoke by analyzing collected data: “Who has done lockdown and who has not. Does it matter? So, when I look at data globally, I looked at Sweden, I looked at California, New York, USA… and I say: one lockdowns; and one didn’t. Has it affected the death rate?... The death rate is 150/million for United States; 200 per million for Sweden; 400 per million for Spain; 400 per million for Italy and they all locked down. Their death rate is higher.”

Dr. Erickson went on to question “Do we need to shelter-in-place? Answer is emphatically NO; do we need businesses to be shut down? Emphatically NO; do we need to have test them and get them back to work? Yes, we do”.

Californian Docs further disclosed: “We have seen 1227 deaths in the state of California with a possible incidence or prevalence of 4.7 million that mean you have 0.03 chance of dying from COVID-19 in California. Is that necessitate sheltering in place? Is that necessitate sheltering health system? Does that necessitate people out of work?

Californian Docs further pointed out in video that dissent of any kind have not tolerated in this country. Fact based honesty, which is the soul of science, is under attack. Even in hospital, Dr. Erickson described physician being harassed to classify illness and death as related to corona virus. We are pressurized to test for flu. It is interesting when I am writing my death report, I am being pressurized to add COVID-19. What is this? It may be to increase the number and make it look little bit worse than it is, I think so”.

Data shows that society should reopen “We started gathering data using a nasal nasopharyngeal swab and meeting all other requirement/ standards of the CDC. We did 6000 tests and were getting about 6.5-7% positive infection cases of COVID-19. In current county, that is just under a million. And antibody testing has 60-90% accuracy.” (if one takes the mean of accuracy 75%. So positive patients are 5 or around.) It validates their call to reopen Kern County.

If above two docs had conducted this press conference in any totalitarian society, their video would have immediately been removed, shackling docs liberty of expression. Irony of fate, it all happened in democratic United states, who advocates, ensures liberty of expression and take pride for it worldwide. The First Amendment protects freedom of speech and says: “In general, the First Amendment guarantees the right to express ideas and information. On a basic level, it means that people can express an opinion (even an unpopular or unsavory one) without fear of government censorship”. One can rebut the docs by counter arguments but silencing them doesn’t sound sensible. And the deletion of their video proved hard pill to swallow for many who are conjecturing; Is the Statue of Liberty is still beaming torch up?
