Nazia Hassan was a first great pop singer in Pakistan. She was born on april 13, 1965. “Ap Jaisa Hai Koi” the super hit song of nazia Hassan. Nazia Hassan professional singing debut was for an Indian film, Qurbani produced by film producer-director Feroz Khan. Biddu, a UK based Indian music producer, who had had several hits producing hit-songs for acts like Tina Charles, Carl Douglas, etc produced Nazia's first mega hit, Aap Jaisa Koi.

After the huge success of their music, selling millions of albums worldwide EMI Music International Company also signed making them as the first Asian artists to be signed by an International music label.
She received several biggest award due to good singing, in this award include:

• Platinum
• Golden Discs
• Pride of Performance
• 3 Emmies 2 Oscars 1 Best Female Actor

She died of lung cancer in London on august 13 2000 at the age of 35. The Government of Pakistan has conferred upon Nazia Hassan the highest civilian award Pride of Performance. The award was presented to Mrs. Munira Basir, the mother of Nazia Hassan.

Now hundreds of singers are pop star but no one can reach the highest rank of Nazia Hassan. No one is awarded like Nazia Hassan.
