8th International Conference & Award on Environment Health & Safety.
In the present era, our communities require CSR (corporate social responsibility) activities. As the PSC (Pakistan Safety Council®) works on CSR by providing safety trainings to organizations, individuals or teams, which helps to improve our society or reduce accidents and death rates in the country by providing different types of trainings, like road safety, workplace safety and household safety etc.
The Award on environmental health and safety and 8th international conference was held on 24 August at Marriot Hotel Karachi. This event was related to health and environmental safety. The award ceremony is organized by professional networks and this award ceremony is supported by the PSC - Pakistan Safety Council®. PSC® is the leading occupational safety & health organization. Many multinational companies participated in this award ceremony. There were 200 companies that are meeting criteria environmental health and safety and 40 of these companies were nominated for the award, like SGS Pakistan, Lucky Group, Telenor Pakistan, United Bank UBL, Fatima Fertilizer ltd, Engro Pakistan, Mari Petroleum, Dr Essa Laboratory, Advance Lab, Indus Motors and Soorty Enterprises Etc...Which met the health and safety criteria and these companies were also given their corporate safety membership by Pakistan Safety Council®.
The professional network organizes outstanding contributions by individuals and organizations and honors them for their excellent contribution and action that have made a positive impact on society. Eminent speakers and experts from leading corporate companies, academia, government, the media & NGO have delivered their case studies based on the Summit theme and emerging topics on CSR. Judges made the decision after the discussion and gave awards to the various companies who were entitled. Pakistan safety council helped the judges to make the decision by giving their opinions. The special token of appreciation was given to the Pakistan Safety Council - PSC® by professional’s network.
