2. Regular physical activity can help maintain a healthy weight and reduce the risk of cancer. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise most days of the week.
3. Smoking is the leading cause of preventable death worldwide and it increases the risk of lung cancer and other types of cancer. Quitting smoking can significantly reduce the risk of developing cancer.
4. Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol can increase the risk of cancer, particularly of the liver, colon, and breast.
5. UV rays from the sun can increase the risk of skin cancer. Wear protective clothing, use sunscreen, and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun when it is strongest.
6. Regular check-ups and screenings can help detect cancer in its early stages, when it is most treatable. Consult with your doctor about what types of screenings you should have and how often you should have them.
7. Limiting exposure to environmental toxins such as pesticides, pollutants, and chemicals can reduce the risk of cancer.

It's important to keep in mind that some cancer risk factors, such as family history and genetics, cannot be changed. However, healthy lifestyle habits can help reduce the risk.
