A Rot Beneath Respectability: Rise Of The Third-Class Man
(Saleha Saleem, Islamabad)
The recent society is twice as bad as it appears, because you only see what you are allowed—or able—to see. Reality is far more bitter than the lens of mere experience. And all this happens at the hands of the third-class men of Pakistani society.
Now, who is this third-class man? He is the one who seduces other women, even while he has five children at home; the one who flirts with unmarried girls as if no moral line exists. In contrast, the first- and second-class men stay committed, live decently, and lead a satisfactory life. But the third-class man is beyond repair.
