‎Toxic and Abusive Behavior Among Some Pakistani Men :

‎Not all Pakistani men are toxic or abusive. Many are kind, respectful, and supportive. However, some men do show toxic and abusive behavior, and this is a serious problem that needs attention.

‎What Is Toxic and Abusive Behavior?

‎Toxic behavior includes controlling others, getting angry easily, insulting, threatening, or hurting someone emotionally or physically. Some men try to control women’s clothes, education, friends, or choices. Abuse can happen at home or in public, and it is never okay.

‎Why Does This Happen?

‎There are several reasons:

‎1.Society often gives men more power than women.
‎2.Boys are taught that being aggressive is “manly”.
‎3.Families sometimes protect abusive men instead of stopping them.
‎4.Religion or culture is sometimes used in the wrong way to control others.

‎These reasons may explain the behavior, but they do not excuse it.

‎Effects on Women and Children:

‎Abuse causes fear, stress, and sadness. Women may lose confidence and feel trapped. Children who grow up in such homes may think this behavior is normal and repeat it in the future.

‎Silence Makes It Worse:

‎Many victims stay quiet because of shame, fear, or family pressure. People call it a “private matter,” which allows abuse to continue. At the same time, men are rarely taught to accept their mistakes or ask for help.

‎What Needs to Change?

‎1.Teach boys respect, kindness, and emotional control.
‎2.Speak openly against abuse.
‎3.Hold abusive men responsible for their actions.
‎4.Support victims and believe them.
‎5.Encourage men to learn and change.

‎Conclusion

‎Talking about toxic and abusive behavior is not about blaming all men. It is about creating a safer and better society. Respect, equality, and kindness should be the foundation of all relationships.
