PAKISTAN……………TILL WHEN?

(Arooba, Karachi)

Since, I am born I have been in a mental agony taking my country at a cursing point. Pakistan, my beloved land, is shedding bloody tears taking into consideration many obnoxious events. Where she has occupied a bad name on the map of the globe, there it has contrary patronage of her very own public.

India has no doubt proven to be the most antagonistic enemy of beloved, leaving no chances of hostility. The current scenario of Mumbai assaults, is one of the worth mentioning pessimistic approaches of the neighboring country. They tend to be rather more innocent, bounded by the malicious land. However they are contrary to what they perceive themselves. According to the situation, Mumbai, one of the biggest cities of India, having major industries, including the most popular Bollywood, is subjected to the terrorism in its biggest hotels, Taj and Oberoi. The further news broadcasted was the accusation on my beloved land. According to the Indian Media, a ship coming from the border landed on the country, with the hostile terrorists from Pakistan, who were actually living in Taj Hotel and are responsible for each and every act. Wow! What a nice story has been made, really the city is entitled to have the film industry. A country, so called very concerned about the economic and political affairs of itself and having the great security measures always ready to the peak, is having the terrorism, in its BIGGEST CITY? In the BIGGEST HOTEL? Where the security measures have gone? The country is so poor in intelligence, that can’t even tackle its own affairs? I mean, a five star hotel is continuously suffering from the agony; they don’t have any intelligence agency to sort out the terrorist? The reality is, they are themselves a biggest losers, who can’t map out the situation, rather just accusing others for the incident. Their security has so many lapses that a hotel consisting of more than thousand rooms doesn’t have any cameras or what? Great! Hats off to India who has proven to be a great dilemma maker.

Well, this is not the first time our name has shone on the map; we are suffering it from the past 60 years. America faced with 9 / 11th incident, Pakistan suffered. There is a bomb blast in London, Pakistan gets the voice. Robbery occurs in Saudi Arab, Pakistanis are forced to loose their hands.

Till when? Till when people leave remembering Pakistan. Sometimes I feel proud with frustration that atleast my land has a name in a world. Who cares if it is a bad one? But other times my heart cries of bloody tears.

I won’t accuse any one for this; rather I would accuse my own people. We are in the mildest circumstances of terrorism; our one province is snatched away by our own decision and lawmakers, merely to happy our hostile rivals. Our people are busy in chaos, competiting each other, underestimating each other. How would a country prosper, where her own people keep antagonistic approaches towards her, where her own public is working day and night to evaporate her name into thin air? I feel pity for such a country, why should I accuse someone else?

One year has passed so early, when we lost our great leader Mohattrama Benazir Bhutto. Her memories are yet footsteps in the sand of our lives. All great leaders have said us good-bye. Who don’t have to give anything to the land. Rather snatching away her peace, prosperity, love and freedom.

The present conditions of Karachi are an other picture of our suffering. People seek chance here, to create a new scene one after an other. Vehicles and human has no difference, both burn together. Where are our police? Where is our government? Riots are been occurred continuously, in the biggest city of my beloved land, and no measures are being taken? Who are these people who are doing this? Why we are giving chances every time to our rivals? Why we are so desperate that can’t even fight for our rights? Why everyone is prejudice here? Can any one answer? Simply NO.

Huh! Long since I got wisdom, I decided not to interfere in politics. I used to hate it. But my eyes can’t bear any more bloodshed, and my hands didn’t stopped of writing what I am suffering from.

I don’t know how much more we have to suffer. We are tired of receiving war alerts, however world knows….”WE ARE NOT IN A STATE OF WAR”. We were never in a state of war and will never. Our religion and nation promotes peace and love not mass meetings.

Still we can hope situation would overcome soon, but if our people demonstrate unity, faith and discipline. Please Pakistanis…wake up…wake up of your dead sleep! We are loosing our state, our home and our ever thing. We still have time left to do something for our land…. Else PAKISTAN………………..till when exists? Who knows!
