How I Got Rid Of Smoking?
(Latif Chaudhery, Lahore, Pakistan)
Once I was a dead smoker,
puffing no less than 100 cigerattes a day. I did it for 40 years of my life when
all of a sudden I decided to get rid. I was in search of a way to do it when a
well wisher advised me to run for a glass of water, when ever I felt like
smoking. This worked well and in about a week the effect of nicotine, I felt,
was not so compelling. It is now more than 20 years, I have not touched a
cigreratte. Taking plenty of water I found was the best source of remedy for
reducing the craze of smoking.
