It is the mid-day today i.e.,
of May 12, 2013. The results of the Election-2013 show that Pakistan Muslim
League (Nawaz group) has achieved most of the seats at national level, whereas
it has gained majority in Punjab Assembly. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has emerged
as the second biggest party in the National Assembly. As far as the situations
of Sindh and KPK assemblies are concerned, Pakistan People’s Party and PTI are
the biggest parties up till now. The picture of Baluchistan Assembly is not
clear as yet. PPP and PTI will have to concentrate on other parties and
Individuals in order to form their governments in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa,
respectively.
PNL (N) has got the simple majority to rule in Punjab. However, it will have to
depend on PTI, MQM, Independents or probably PPP at national level.
The overall result reveals that the majority of the nation has rejected the
leftists’ thinking and has shown their liking over PML (N) and thus a great
responsibility lies on its major leaders to come up with the expectations of the
people.
