America and her supporters
always had their evil eyes on Pakistan since the period of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali
Bhutto's PPP government. It was only after his 'judicial murder' that the
condition of the State became worse.
Through its cunning policies, the US changed the administration in Pakistan
according to its will, and did what it wanted to vis-à-vis the politics,
development etc. of the country.
The US was afraid of the policies and agenda of Mr Bhutto. He wanted to unite
like-minded leadership in and outside Pakistan against the imperialistic
policies of the US. As a result, the US and Israel always mobilized the west
against the interests of Pakistan.
It is a fact that the United Nations is working on the agenda of the US, and is
taking actions against liberal and democratic states on its directions. It was
the US that created and used Taliban in the name of ‘holy warriors’ against the
Soviets. Now they, along with Al-Qaeda are being called terrorists in
Afghanistan and see the irony, they are called pro-democracy rebels in Syria.
Guess who is the biggest supporter of the extremism in the world? Yes, it is the
United States of America.
Talking of drones, which are
illegally operating inside my country, thousands of innocent people have died in
such attacks. They are violating the freedom and sovereignty of Pakistan.
Being a citizen of Pakistan, it is my humble request to the United Nations to
take serious and neutral action against drones and ask the US to stop being
rowdy. If such actions are not stopped, the day is not far when we will have to
face third world war. We have already seen enough of destruction and we don’t
want to see it any more.
President Barack Obama should review his policies regarding Pakistan. Being a
student of political science, I know why the US and Israel are afraid of unity
among Muslims, especially between Iran and Pakistan. But let me tell them that
they have no right to stop any country from strengthening its defence systems.
You are a superpower, let others become too. After all, it is better to live in
peace than die in a war.
Despite all the criticism of the PPP government (2008-13), I must say that the
launch of Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline is in the best interest of both the nations
and the project will certainly help Pakistan to get rid of the energy crisis.
Now, it is the prime duty of PML (N), led by Nawaz Sharif to make sure that the
pipeline project is completed in time. Another credit that goes to PPP
government is the Gwadar Port – a project of all-weather friendship between
Pakistan and China. It will play a major role in the economic development of
Pakistan.
