You can cope with stress

(Clinical Psy. Saima , lahore)

We human beings are different from other creatures as we have brain and mind to think, feel, plan, act and get best for ourselves and our family. We believe that our brain wheels all kind of feelings and actions. Whenever we are troubled due to any situation or environment reason, our feelings, plans and actions are also disturbed.

Why???

It means there is some boundary between our feelings, plans, actions and daily routine stresses that maintains us. That does not allow us to be strained and bother on our daily routine actions or stressful events.

This boundary is the coping strategy that enables us to cope with all kind of stresses and situations that are problematic for us. We all need to boost up our coping against stresses and situations. How??? That is a big question.

We all can manage and boost our copings through.
1. Getting aware about actual coping status through identifying ourselves, acting under stressful condition.
2. Getting aware about the thoughts we have under the stressful situation.
3. Realize the type of thoughts (negative or positive) we have in the specific condition.
4. Try to replace the negative thoughts with the more positive thoughts.
5. Write those replaced thoughts for you.
6. Practice those positive thoughts in place of negative thoughts.
7. Always try to make separate time (at least 10 min) daily for you to identify and your psychological matters.
8. Try to have professional psychological help from clinical psychologist for your psychological issues when you can’t overcome them.
9. Getting help from psychologist does not mean you are sick but it means you are concerned about your quality of life free from worries and stress.
10. Always try to overcome stress and not allow it to drive you.
