New states are usually formed
on the basis of geographical divisions, ethnicity, language or other
commonalities. Following the World War-II many a new state emerged on the
political map of the world; Pakistan was the first state that came into being on
the basis of ideology. The only other such example is apparently that of Israel.
Once Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal presented the idea of a separate state for the
Muslims of subcontinent at the historic 1930 Allahabad Convention, it was taken
as dream of a mad man. But in a short span of only 10 years the All India Muslim
League, under the charismatic leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, was able to
muster support of the majority of Muslims of the subcontinent, which was
unanimously expressed in the form of Pakistan Resolution on 23rd March 1940 at
Manto Park Lahore.
Pakistan came into being as the first Ideological state on 14th August 1947.
Fortunately the Islamic calendar date was 27th of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak, the day
was Jumatul Wida and the revered night was Lailatul Qadr, not a mere coincidence
but seemed to be a Divine destiny. There are numerous reasons to believe that
the creation of Pakistan was no less than a miracle; it is really a sign of
Allah.
The Muslims of subcontinent got united under the slogan of "Pakistan Ka Matlab
kaya, La ilah ha IllAllah". This slogan is the basis of the Two-Nation Theory
and the Ideology of Pakistan. The slogan for Pakistan is a sign of Allah and no
one can change the purpose of creation of Pakistan.
Disappointed by the internal conspiracies of Indian Muslims, Muhammad Ali Jinnah
left India and started practising law in England. Despite pursuance by Allama
Iqbal, Khan Liaquat Ali Khan and other prominent Muslim leaders, he kept on
refusing to accept the leadership of Muslim League. Until one night while asleep
he was said to be commanded by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to return to India and
lead the Muslims for creation of a separate homeland for them. This Divine
guidance reflects that creation of Pakistan is a miracle and a sign of Allah.
The guidance through dream has also been reported about Khan of Kalat and other
prominent leaders. But, let us only restrict to the visionary dream of Allama
Iqbal whose words were of prophetic nature.
Usually the name of a country depicts the ethnic composition of that very
country like Germany for German people and Japan for Japanese people. Pakistan
is a unique name which does not depict any single nationality; instead it means
a place of living for the noble people. Amazingly there is a similarity in the
meanings of Madina Tayaba and Pakistan. Is it by chance or a part of grand plan?
When the Quaid proposed to the Khan of Kalat to integrate Balochistan into
Pakistan he asked for some time to consult the Tribal elders. As the story goes,
Khan was ordered by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to make Balochistan part of
Pakistan. Now that all the enemies of Pakistan have united and conspiring to
disintegrate Pakistan, they will never succeed in their nefarious designs as the
geographical boundaries of Pakistan are being protected as a sign of Allah.
