Due to opportunistic politics
of GM Syed in 1970’s, at present Sammat Sindhis are slaves of Syed and Baloch
feudal lords in rural Sindh. Urban areas of Sindh are in control of Urdu
Speaking Hindustani Muhajirs and People of Punjab are not interested in
investing their economic resources and intellectual skills in the development of
agriculture, industry, trade business, health and education sectors of Sindh.
G.M Syed was not a Sindhi nationalist leader. He was an opportunist of short
vision. He had his ambitions in Rural Sindh to evacuate Rural Sindh from
economically rich Punjabi settlers of Sindh; those were serving Sindh by the
development of agriculture, industry, trade business, health and education
sectors of Sindh.
G.M Syed achieved his goal by taking over the irrigated lands and established
businesses of Punjabi settlers of Sindh along with domination of Syed and Baloch
feudal lords over Sammat Sindhis in Rural Sindh. But, he dragged the Sindhi
nation in permanent confrontation with people ofPunjab along with domination of
Urdu Speaking Hindustani Muhajirs on Urban areas of Sindh.
In past, during 1970’s Punjabi settlers in Sindh from 1901 and 1932, evacuated
Sindh and returned Punjab by handing over their irrigated lands and established
businesses to Sindhis, especially Syed and Baloch.
Due to anarchy, terrorism, racist and fascist activities of MQM, during the end
of 1980'sPunjab received dead bodies of Punjabis from Karachi along with
shifting of Industry and trade business of Punjabis from Karachi to Punjab. G.M
Syed was the main supporter of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain during that period.
After shifting industry and trade business of Punjabis fromKarachi to Punjab,
Urdu Speaking Hindustani Muhajirs started to dominate the urban areas of Sindh
and GM Syed was not able to stop them from evacuating Sindhis from urban areas
of Sindh. Because, G.M Syed was not a Provincial level leader of Sindh,
therefore, he was not able to do anything in urban areas of Sindh against Urdu
Speaking Hindustani Muhajirs due to the domination of Muhajirs in urban areas of
Sindh.
G.M Syed was also not able to resolve the disputes of Sindhi nation withPunjab
and Punjabi nation due to his filthy role against Punjabi settlers of Sindh.
However, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, Pir Pagaro, Muhammad Khan Junejo
and Ghulam Mustafa Jattoi were bridging and binding force for Sindhi people with
people of Punjab but, after death of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, Pir
Pagaro, Muhammad Khan Junejo and Ghulam Mustafa Jattoi, at present, Sindhi
people are on way of detachment from people of Punjab due to lacking in social
and political interaction with people of Punjab. As Punjab is the 60% population
of Pakistan, therefore, detachment with Punjab will lead the Sindhi people
towards national isolation.
