Role of Aloe Vera in human health

 Aloe Vera is a perennial xerophytes succulent plant. Genus Aloe has 420 species. The botanical name of Aloe Vera is Aloe barbadensis miller and family is liliacae.It has green fleshy leaves with serrated edges. Origin is believed to be Sudan. Then introduced to different country such as America, Asia, Africa and Europe .Aloe Vera is most biologically active then all author species .Aloe Vera contain most of minerals, vitamins, amino acid, and enzyme. Aloe Vera also has saccharides, salicylic acid, and fatty acid. Aloe versa also have 3 plant sterols. It has more than 200 active components. Aloe Vera contains vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B12 and Folic acid. It provides 20 of 22 human required amino acid and has 8 of 8 essential amino acid. Aloe Vera have 8 enzyme include aliiase, alkaline phosphatise, amylase, bradykinase, carboxypeptidase.catalase, cellulose, lipase and peroxidise. Aloe Vera has 12 anthraquinones that have anti bacterial and anti fungal activity. Aloe Vera secrete two substance .one substance is gel that obtained from the cell in centre of leaf .The other substance is latex that obtained from the cell beneath the skin. These substances are mostly use in medicine. Aloe Vera also contain minerals include calcium, selenium, chromium, magnesium, potassium, sodium and zinc. Aloe Vera contains auxin and gibberellins that help in healing wounds. Aloe Vera contains monosaccharide and polysaccharides so in this way it also provides sugar. Aloe Vera gel effective in burn injury. It also protects the skin from radiation damage. Protect skin from crinkle. Aloe Vera extract play an important role in softening of skin. Aloe Vera extract used in makeup, sunscreen, creams and shampoo. Aloe Vera itself also a treatment for acne. Aloe Vera contains minerals and vitamins and has nourishing properties .It is natural treatment for dry hair. Keep the hair strong and healthy. Helpful in dandruff due to anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Aloe Vera gel contains the enzyme that promotes the regeneration of skin tissue around the hair follicles. Aloe Vera is used as anti-constipation. Aloe Vera latex act as laxative. Anthraquinones present in latex. It increase the intestinal water and stimulate the mucus secretion and increase intestinal peristalsis that break the food and mix the chyme.Aloe Vera have role in digestion. Aloe Vera juice maintains alkaline, acid and PH in balance. Aloe Vera strengthens the immune system. It enables the cell to function properly. It has an enzyme bradykinase that stimulate the immune system and kill the infection. Aloe Vera contains zinc that is also play an important role in the maintenance of immune system. Polysaccharides present in Aloe Vera juice stimulates macrophage which are actually white blood cells and fight against viruses. Aloe Vera is anti-biotic, anti-microbial, anti-septic, and anti-fungal .it is also used for fungal and viral treatment. Aloe Vera act as anti-oxidant and anti-inflamation.Aloe Vera have vitamin A that have role in healthy vision, in functioning of nervous system and important for maintaining healthy skin. Due to anti-oxidant properties it reduces the inflammation. Aloe Vera has vitamin C that protect from heart and blood vessel disease .Also protect from the disease that transfer from parents to children (parental disease), disease of eyes and skin diseases. Aloe Vera also used for curing Diabetes. Aloe Vera also finds to be a promoter of weight loss. It promotes the weight loss. Due to all properties of Aloe Vera it is clear that it is so important for our health .So we should move towards the natural medicinal herbs. It should be grown at home level as well as at possible commercial level .People should also be aware about such kind of plant that are important for human health and people should be encourage to grow such kinds of plants for providing beneficial role in the society and for promoting the medicinal marketing.
